In order for this SFT rod to be considered for warranty repair or replacement, return the rod to the retailer where originally purchased or return intact, prepaid and insured to SFT in a disposable carton. During this period, if SFT determines that this rod is defective, SFT will repair or replace the rod with the same or similar rod at no charge. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from an accident, neglect or normal wear and tear. Star Fishing Tackle (SFT) will warrant to the original retail purchaser that this rod will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Thank you for purchasing a Star Stellar or Aerial fishing rod. All rods with a handwritten label or part number were manufactured prior to implementation of the Lifetime Warranty and are not covered. This limited warranty will be considered void if the rod has been modified, neglected, improperly maintained, misused or abused as determined by the retailer or SFT. Please send us an email in order to obtain this return authorization number and warranty claim form. In order for this SFT rod to be considered for warranty repair or replacement, a return authorization number and warranty claim form must be acquired and accompany the rod. If replacement is necessary and the exact rod is not available, SFT will substitute the closest model available, which will be of equal or greater value. If SFT determines that this rod is defective, SFT will, at its option, repair or replace the rod.

In the event they will not, SFT will handle the warranty. SFT first suggests contacting the store in which the rod was purchased to see if they will warranty the rod in-house. Star Fishing Tackle (SFT) will warrant to the original retail purchaser that this rod will be free of defects in material and workmanship.This warranty does not cover damage resulting from an accident, neglect or normal wear and tear.
